15 youngsters from Europe carry out their volunteer service simultaneously as a group activity at their placement locations in the Thuringian hosting organizations and associations, which are active in the international and europolitical area. The hosting organizations work on different main points, but they are connected through a common idea and a common project within the scope of collaboration in "scanning Europe".

It should enforce the development and sharpening of a European awareness (European citizenship/active citizenship) by discussing current (Euro-) political, historical, cultural, sociopolitical and youth-cultural topics and questions. The European (youth) policy shall also be (critically) scrutinised, like the process of union, notification and communication. The youngsters will be placed transregionally under the coordination of the EJBW and will work decentrally on a linking and common idea.

Planned are exclusively long term services of minimum 10 maximum 12 months. Collaborate project results are presented in the form of a mobile exhibition, own radio and television contributions as well as a common internet platform. Common experiences and results will be presented there and will be made visible to the wider public.
